We bought this as we have a large family and our freezer is full of ice trays which will spill most of the time so after reading many reviews, we decided to purchase this make and model and it it’s absolutely fantastic. From the time you push the start button to the time that you have fresh solid ice, it takes only 12 minutes. That really surprised us. We also went to a local store to purchase a small water bottle for the top of the machine instead of manually filling it, but the bottle did not fit, so I’m unsure where to purchase a bottle locally so I will order one off Icemaker.us.com or some other retailer. Another great feature it that its compact and very quiet. If your always looking for ice and you don’t want to use the bag of ice that you purchased at the local store and the ice is mostly freezer burnt or you don’t want to constantly be spilling ice trays, this is the one to buy. We absolutely love it and it’s worth every penny.

I owned a business (not a restaurant) that had an industrial ice machine that produced ‘Sonic’ type ice. It absolutely ruined me for any other type of ice. I retired and my family sold the business, so I decided to try to find a little ice machine to fit on the kitchen counter. One that would make soft pellet type ice. I found one! This one is relatively quiet, it looks nice, I can put about 20 oz of water in it at a time and it quickly makes ice. Now, I’m used to an industrial strength ice maker, so it doesn’t make a lot at a time, but I think it makes enough for a family. I highly recommend it!

Small for first or second round. After that it’s great to have.

The ice maker in our main refrigerator wasn't working good, so we purchased this. It really spit out the ice.

We replaced our refrigerator and the new one is working good, so we haven't used it much since, but I am glad we purchased it.

Everyone in my family loves the ice this little machine makes. The ice is just like the nugget ice you get from Sonic or Chick-Fil-A. It is not bullet ice like some of the ice machines that are sold. I received it on Christmas Day and my whole family kept going back to get the “best ice”! It comes with 2 ice bags, so you can make a ton of ice to freeze. It is not loud when running. I would say it is about as noisy as when the dishwasher is running. As the ice melts, it will make new ice. I am very happy with this ice machine 10/10!

This is a very nice looking small ice maker hence the extra star but why even market this as 35 dB?

It is noticeably loud. Like can't have a conversation with someone while standing near it loud. Like Apple Watch shows 60+ dB loud. There is no time when this is 35 dB. It's either sitting there filled with ice and making no sound or 60+ dB while trying to make ice. At no time is this 35 dB.

Another problem that does affect other ice makers is that the sensors to stop the ice from over filling are at the back of where the ice falls into the tray. They easily get tripped by a single cube of ice at the rear and you end up with a mostly empty ice tray.

The main reason though we're returning it, is the ice tastes like poison. Running cleaning cycles did not help. How many hours of cleaning are going to make the internals taste less like poison?
