I was in love with this machine. I've had it for 1 month exactly. It functioned well and produced ice quickly and thought it was beautiful and a great value. Until...This morning as I went to start ice, I noticed a greasy black film in the ice tray. I've used this machine every day for the last 30 days. I've run the clean cycle. I only use Distilled water as I am super picky about my ice. There's no reason there should be anything black coming out of this machine.

I've contacted customer service to see why this has happened. I will update this review upon receiving a solution. I'm so bummed because I've been using this daily and will be lost without my nugget ice.

Kind of noisy but nothing like the last machine I had that did bullet ice instead of nuggets (sonic ice). I love the fact that I can leave my ice in it all day and it won't completely melt away. It melts some but not much. At the end of my day I transfer any ice still in the machine to the freezer. I highly recommend this ice maker.

I was drawn to this ice maker because of its sleek design. It looks fantastic on my countertop, especially with the light on. It produces ice at a good pace and the cubes are nicely shaped.

This ice maker is a great addition to my home. It looks good, makes ice quickly, and the ice itself is perfect. However, the noise and water spillage issues keep it from being a 5-star product. If you're not too sensitive to noise and don't mind a little extra cleanup, I'd still recommend it.

I bought thus for my wife in May of 2023, it's now Feb 2024. I think a fan is going out on her machine, when it is on it is making a loud noise like bearings going out on a fan. For the price of this thing and no more then what it has been used, I would think it wouldn't have any problems at all at this time. We have very hard water where I live, so we have only used bottled water in it, sense day 1!! Thinking our water would mess up the components inside it with all the calcium deposits it would have. However, instead one of the fans is making a loud noise like it's going out. Recommend this product?? Yes, I would still recommend it, I think I may of just got one that has a flaw. It has been doing it for about 3 months now, I emailed customer support when it first started making the noise, I never heard back from them. I'm going to contact them again and see if I can get a reply this time. Other then that, it has been a good ice maker. If customer support contacts me back and I can get the parts to fix this I'll change up rating and update my comment.

I love this appliance. And....the price was right. I have a very small freezer and no room to store ice. So, when I saw this on sale, I nabbed it and am glad I did. I can make just the amount of ice I need and it is fast and easy. Easy to maintain, too.

I want to give a shout out to the E-COZY support team. After 9 months my ice maker just stopped working without cause. Within 3 days of emailing customer service I had a free replacement at my door. They were very professional, courteous, fast and efficient!
