The ice maker in my fridge broke and can't be fixed. Bought this as a replacement option. Makes ice with a great texture. I use filtered water so the flavor is really clean. It's a bit noisy, but if you have a place out of the way to run it, it wouldn't be bad. Mine is out on the kitchen counter and I easily got used to the noise. Makes cubes fast! I store them in and dispense them from my fridge ice maker.

I called my local repairman and he told me that the part was going to be over $100. I bought this for less than half. It was shipped quickly and when it arrived, I popped it in and worked perfectly. Actually, I was not sure if it was working because it did not make the noise the original one did. Very quiet and works as it should.

This has to be one of the best bargains I have bought. It works flawlessly. I can't recommend this little unit strongly enough. For those wondering, there is no drain. any ice not used melts back into the reservoir to be melted again

Well I hate that I can't hook it to a water supply, and I hate that it doesn't KEEP the ice cold, but it's not a terrible machine. Every half hour or so you will have to dump the ice and put it in the freezer or it will melt. You also need to add water as needed. Not half as efficient as many fridges, but if you're like me and don't have one of those, this will make ice fast in a pinch.

I was super excited to get my new ice machine in March of 2023, as my old one had just died after three years, and this new one was a pretty teal colour that matched my kettle and microwave.

Sadly, FOUR SHORT MONTHS later, it no longer makes ice. It keeps telling me the ice is full. I’ve unplugged it, cleaned the sensor, checked to make sure the fan isn’t clogged, and that there’s plenty of air flow around the machine.

I’m at a loss, and now I have to buy a new ice maker.

If trying to make ice to store it will stick together because its so wet. When collecting for storing I would suggest dumping each time it puts out a lad of cubes which is time consuming to watch it. It is pretty quiet. Works well but will not produce enough for several people at a time if that is what you are needing.
