This is a very efficient little ice maker. I put it in my camper van to have ice on the road. It really does generate the ice very quickly as described. The only drawback to this machine, for me, is that the finished ice container is very small and so needs frequent emptying to continue making ice. This is hard to do while traveling down the road. However, this is a limitation of all non-commercial-size ice makers as far as I can tell. To get a commercial ice make would cost far more money and take far more space. Accordingly, this "drawback" appears to be an inherent part of the design of all home ice makers. But this one works as described and does make ice very quickly. I like it and am happy to have ice on my travels.

The ice maker works really well it would be nice if it kept the ice frozen .
If you leave it full for a few hrs it starts to melt .
Otherwise the ice maker works great .

This product has worked very well for the past year. I have only used clean water, but my tap water is a bit hard and I believe this has caused a sensor or other component within the machine to have trouble sensing the water level.

It makes ice pretty quickly. 1 full container is probably good for 6-7 pretty full glasses of ice.

My machine basically died after 14 months of continuous operation. In retrospect, I think that using filtered water will improve the lifespan of this machine.

The machine has acted temperamental before, occasionally not sensing the water level. Usually turning it off for an hour would fix it.

I will give 4 stars because it occasionally breaks down and barely lasted more than a year, but I feel this might be related to my own hard water and it has otherwise performed well. Therefore I will only take off one star.

Great ice maker. Makes perfect pellet ice. Quick, easy to clean, doesn’t take up much space, easy to operate. It’s a little noisy, but I’ve heard most of them are unless you buy one of the $300+ ones.

This maker was a big hit at my Airbnb just wish I found a few years back!!!

I cannot use it myself personally because it will not make ice with distilled water. Not many are concerned with that so it's great for a public business or office setting. Easy to use repeatedly. I only rent 2 rooms out so in the Summer a busy office may need 2. Just a warning ⚠️

In spite of the mixed reviews, I thought we would give this unit a try. Since it was either try this or buy one for 2k! Our town is having a severe nitrate problem in their wells. We are under notification not to drink the water or make ice out of it. Buying ice gets old really quickly.

As has been suggested by other reviews, we ran about a gallon of vinegar through the unit before we used it. It took another five gallons before the water quit have a strange taste. The ice cubes were always great.

It is not the quietest appliance, but I have never seen an ice maker that was. We keep it on the Service Porch. It makes less noise and is less annoying than the cat water fountain! The noise is more like the older refrigerators that had ice makers in them.

I serves its purpose well, I have no idea how long it will last. But we are very grateful to have it! I know if I bought a whole bunch of them, I could probably sell them on the street corner in our town for twice the price!
