Love this little ice machine! It is perfect for a small family or extra ice for a gathering. One filling of the water well with distilled water gives me ice all day but several fills will keep drinks for your family cool. Nice size and super quiet.

I've only had this thing 2 weeks, when it dies I'll come back and tell ya how long she held out. I love it! Makes soft ice quickly. About as loud as your dishwasher, easy to operate, fits nicely on the counter, doesn't seem like it would hold up to a drop, so be careful of you are going to travel with it.

Very disappointing. It lasted six months and has failed. No longer cooling, so it won’t make ice. I am starting the return process today…more on how that goes later

Update on this review. The seller, Beach Camera, will do nothing regarding a warranty claim. They state that they are “not authorized” to accept a return after 45 days. Al I have heard from Deco Chef at this point is acknowledgement of my email.

I would run the other way from these guys….a poor product, and poor customer service. You are likely on your own if you have an issue.

Another update: Deco Chef has offered a refund, which is much appreciated. We ultimately had a helpful email exchange leading to the refund. Too bad that the product failed, but at least Deco Chef customer service is conscientious, and concerned about customer satisfaction

After a power outage the blue light went out. I contacted customer service. They sent me instructions and even a video to fix the problem.

First one came with a cracked housing and the seller had to send me another housing that I installed on the motor. It worked okay after I fixed It.
Second one was not S-0730 but the much smaller PA0613. Going through the return and send me the right one process now. Keep posted. The correct pump arrived in good condition and is working fine 🙂

Ice maker is very loud. Sometimes sounds like someone is rattling a doorknob trying to break into the house.
