Bought this in august 2023, by late December the mechanism that turns the bar to break off the nuggets was making a horrendous screeching noise and a couple days later it completely stopped making ice.
Guess I should’ve listened to the other reviews saying it was dead within 6 months of purchase.
It did make ice as advertised when it was working though.

Love the ice it produces, but this machine gets really loud. It sounds like it’s off center and makes a loud noise every few mins or so. I should’ve returned but waited too long. I would spend a little more and get a better quality machine.

worked fine for approximately 8-9 months and stopped working / contacted manufacturer and was told still under warranty and would be replaced / was notified on 9/18 /2024 that would not be replaced because was purchased as used / told by silon to contact seller (Icemaker.us.com) about problem / when purchased was not used , only had minor exterior box damage , was unaware of warranty restrictions or would have purchased new item only , is any solution available at this point…

i bought this ice maker for my mom for christmas and it is awful. it makes a horrible loud noise when making ice and it does not keep the ice frozen after it’s made which defeats the whole purpose of an ice maker! i will say the type of ice it makes is good but i would just buy a different nugget ice maker

This little icemaker has me making healthy cherry limeades at home. It’s amazing. I love this friggin thing- it’s quiet, the ice is delicious and crunchy. You do have to refill it a lot and it’s pretty slow to fill up with ice, but for a personal icemaker for one it’s ideal.
