Straight out of the box this gem made ice within a half hour. It’s great that you can change the size of the cubes. It’s relatively quiet except when ice falls, naturally you’ll hear that. It makes enough ice to keep up with a family of four, even in the summer.
There is an “eye” that stops it from dispensing more ice if there is a build up of ice. The ice build up is towards the back and consequently doesn’t move ice forward, thus the red light comes on and production stops. While I understand this feature, it’s a pain. I will have to check the ice repeatedly during the day and free the cubes by leveling them. The machine will not make any ice if the ice bucket is crooked as it blocks the eye. So if you’re not careful you won’t have ice when you want it.
All in all, it’s a great little machine other than the annoyances I’ve mentioned. Freed up a lot of freezer space which I needed.
For the money, it works great.

Overall I like the ice maker. It produces wonderful, crunchy bullet ice that comes in two sizes. However, there is a major flaw…
The small cubes fall through the storage basket. Even the large cubes fall through until the machine is running long enough to create thicker pieces. I can fix the problem by cutting a piece of wire mesh to fit the bottom of the basket, but it’s annoying. All the manufacturers had to do was use a basket that had smaller slots.
I used bottled drinking water, and the ice was clear and tasty. I love to crunch ice, and this is perfect.
Overall, I’d recommend the ice maker. It’s cute, easy to use, and makes perfect bullet ice.

I received my ice maker. It was teal instead of the stainless steel I ordered but I kept it instead of messing with a return. Also it appeared that it may have been used before becsuse of a few light scuffs on the exterior.On the 4th day of operation it stopped working and the power light was flashing. I ran thru the trouble shooting tips in the booklet. It did not help. Then i called Icemaker.us.com service and they ran me thru tests. She then connected me to the manufacturer support. I told her what the machine was doing and she immediately said “that is a factory defect. You need to return it thru Icemaker.us.com.” This has obviously happened before. The quality of the shell exterior is very cheap/flimsy. I’m vert disappointed with this product overall.
