Where were these appliances 10 years ago? I already own a small icemaker like this but even my wife liked this stainless model. The features are perfect for something this size the best of which is different size cubes. What I absolutely love about these is the ability to easily make ice on my sailboat for drinks and not having to wait forever for it to happen. The turnaround times for making ice in the ad is absolutely spot on. The full bin in the photo is somewhat deceptive because it is NOT possible to get the machine that full without problems but keeping the basket emptied is so simple. I really don’t know how they can afford to sell these so inexpensively but honestly they are worth every penny. I may have received this for review and I call out garbage when I see it but this thing is really worth having. A little tip: I save plastic bags that bread comes in fill them with ice from the machine. Granted, the ice is somewhat wet and in stored in a regular freezer will require an ice pick but………it has made such a simple pleasure so easy to have almost anywhere. Thanks for reading.

I got this mainly for camping trips to keep drinks cold, have ice readily available as needed etc. It produces ice quickly, but not enough to say fill a cooler in a decent amount of time. It is perfect for quick ice for drinks, etc.
The ice maker has two size selections, larger cubes and smaller cubes. The smaller cubes are great for drinks especially, while the larger ones would be more for freezer/cooler etc.
The machine is relatively quiet, and produces ice cubes in ~9 minutes. It will produce ice until the machine runs out of water or the tray is full (not as full as the advertisement photos suggest – it does not fill up that full ever). For speed, quality, and noise, this is a good machine.

Ok, I don’t know why I am so amazed at this machine, but I am. I drink spring water I hand carry home from a nearby spring, but haven’t used it in making ice cubes yet. I know I could buy the plastic trays and make ice that way, but this is much more fun AND fast!!
Set up is easy-clean and plug in. Add water and choose ice size. After about 7 minutes I had my first small batch of ice.
It’s fairly quiet, but it does sound like a louder mini fridge on your counter that’s working away.
I love this, it’s so convenient and will be great for gatherings and when I go to the beach house!
Important: Directions say to make sure this unit is upright for 24 hours first before cleaning and making your first batch of ice. Mine was sitting in the box on its side and when I opened it up, I wanted to start immediately, but waited a day to do so.
