Bought this for my mom, she absolutely loved and still loves it. It makes in the square nuggets and is hard ice and the ice is similar to a fast food brand of ice. She never found an ice maker she liked until this one. I bought it during prime days, so it was cheaper than most, and bought because of the reviews and this is a great ice maker. Worth the money

Even though I’ve regularly cleaned this ice maker monthly, it has quit producing ice more than a couple tablespoons at a time. I purchased it in May 24, In October 24 it started making screeching noises, and not ice. Up until then it worked great. So I thoroughly cleaned it with a metal straw brush and ran vinegar through it several times and got it working again. Its December and now its only making a tablespoon of ice every 45 mins, which melts because there isn’t enough to keep it cold. We also use only filtered water. Im really disappointed in the lack of quality and the fact I can no longer return it for a refund or exchange (only good for 30 days). It makes me sad that things are made so poorly and cluttering our planet with useless junk. My bullet ice maker lasted 4 years. This one barely 6 months. Spend the money on an extended warranty or a name brand that costs a bit more. Over all the ice was great until it stopped making it. And all we ever used was water, no flavored stuff.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. Read a ton of reviews and even the more expensive models only last about a year. So I opted for an economical model and I have to say, so far I have been impressed. The wife loves it and it’s still going strong. It is a little noisy but doesn’t bother us.

I really like this ice maker. It’s easy to use. However, the ice is a bit “wet” when it comes out so I put it on a big dish and in the freezer for a while before dumping it in the ice bucket I put in the freezer. Otherwise the ice would all clump together. Another thing is the drain plug. It’s almost impossible to get out. The only way I could do that is to get a stick and a hammer and push it out from the inside, so instead I just pick up the machine (heavy) and pour out the water. Other than those things it serves the purpose and now I have plenty of ice.

Now that I have this icemaker, I will never go without ice. It produces small amounts, but you can use it all day long if you need to.
The first cubes that come out are very tiny little pieces, but as time goes on, they become full blown normal pieces of ice and has been a great addition to our home

Thanks to this very low priced little gem I now have more time to save up for a new fridge!
I bought this because the ice maker in our 15 year old Maytag fridge won’t work anymore and I can’t just rush out and buy a whole new unit because of a failed ice maker. Wish I could, but I can’t and so with this quiet little rig on the counter I can just fill up the icemaker tray in the fridge and have the tray full to the brim in an hour.
And, this little gem could go on the road, already tested it with an inverter, works like a champ.

UPDATE, it is now December 2023 and the darn thing is STILL WORKING faithfully every single day.
