I loved this machine at first. Great quantity of ice put out and everything. About 3 months ago it started making a loud noise and a few days later it stopped making ice. I just made this loud horrible noise. That is when I noticed that the thing that turns to push the ice out of the opening just stopped. So dissapointed. Makes me wonder if that is why it is no longer available.

Sometimes it’s worth paying extra for something you use every day. That’s the case in our house with this purchase. Our fridge is plumbed for an ice maker, but there’s no water access behind the fridge. This countertop ice maker was a great solution. We use it all the time. We like the size of the cubes (small, apparently similar to Sonic’s ice). Simple, effective design. Easy to fill and clean. Makes ice quickly. Would highly recommend.
