I had no issues with the installation. After a couple of hours I had several cubes of ice. Has been working great ever since it was installed. Saved a considerable amount of money over the manufacture replacement and by not calling someone to handle t.he repair.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL of the coils on the bottom when removing the old unit. Got a ptetty bad cold burn not realizing that. Also, no need to remove the screws completely as the new unit can “slot” back in. Don’t worry about the random L bracket on the bottom, it isn’t needed. Took about 10 minutes including cussing about the burn.
