Love this are are built for what it was designed for I ordered 6 of them to give as gifts my son uses one every day due to the one on his refrigerator is broke so far the one he had I previous purchased over a year ago is still working where I live is we get hurricane so when we have boil water advisory’s we use it with bottle water I also use it for every day ice because I can use bottle water and not what comes out of the faucet it better tasting water and it keep up for parties too it makes enough fast enough it will keep up for 6 or 7 people but u have to keep filling it wje. It runs out of water and if the ice melts it recreates what melts

This ice maker worked great at first. I used filtered water and cleaned it regularly. Unfortunately, it stopped working after 4 months of regular use. The melting cycle to release the ice from the maker no longer works and it causes the unit to shut off on its own. It won’t reset unless I unplug it for a bit. It will then start another cycle, but fails to release the ice and shuts itself off again. Unfortunately, the hassle of submitting a warranty claim and the mere cost to ship it back to the manufacturer really isn’t worth it. I was hoping this would at least last a while longer. Not thrilled.

Like the different settings for ice hardness. Like the timer system so machine is not running all the time. Makes ice quick. Only issue is it is a little more noisy than other products I have had. The only reason it is because of the block of squares of ice that fall into the tub.

My bullet ice maker died after 2 years ( made horrible grinding sound and none of the moving parts moved) and I needed a replacement. I decided on this one. It is great! First it makes much more ice in a day than my previous one. Second the ice is crystal clear and seems to taste better even though I am using the same filtered water. Third, no moving parts except for the ice full switch (which could be replaced by a photocell)
It is a little bigger than the bullet machine and the fan exits the back instead of the side so it takes up a little more counter space
Overall I would definitely buy it again.

We had another icemaker very similar to this one, but from a different company. I had to replace my last one because the motor was making such a loud noise, they shipped me a new one and the second one within a week started making the same noise. I was worried about this one doing the same thing because it looks identical to the last one, however, that was not the case, so far this thing has been amazing for us. We go through so much ice in this family that we have to run it daily. Running it for several hours fills my ice tray in my freezer, but by the end of the night, the ice tray is empty and we have to run it again. It holds close to a little over half a gallon of water and makes a lot of ice.
The ice cubes are nice and solid. With that said, they are also very wet coming out of the ice bin so I use a strainer as you will see in my photo and I dump it into the strainer with a bowl underneath, and I break up the ice in the strainer then I put it in my freezer and break up the ice again, I found if you don’t do that, you get a sheet of ice at the bottom of the ice cubes in the freezer tray because of all the Water.
The machine is slightly loud, so when I’m sitting in the living room, which is on the other side of the wall, where I keep the icemaker, I can hear it, luckily, I have a barn door I can slide closed while running the icemaker.
All in all, we really like this icemaker and are very happy with it!
