The ice is WET! This means it sticks together, maybe for the price point this is acceptable. It melts very quickly. Also, I am NOT getting two sizes of ice. Just one, it’s fine, but both small and large are exactly the same size. It does make a lot of ice quickly. It’s quiet. Not sure if I can recommend this or not.

The ice maker is not too bulky. It turns out ice quickly I use cold filtered water it does not keep ice cold so you have to remove your ice and put it in the freezer, but I didn’t find it inconvenient. Once you fill it with water it makes a good amount of ice on one filling, there is no beep that indicates your ice is done but you will hear the ice drop, there is also no sound when the water needs to be refilled a light ontop will light red when it sences the ice basket is full or it needs more water. It is pretty quite with a light fan noise. The quality is good and it is efficient. For the price it does what is expected you get ice fast it’s portable. Some reviews didn’t like the fact that it doesn’t actually keep your ice cold but it would definitely cost more and the machine would have to be bigger to house that type of motor so keep that in mind. It’s made to be portable and make ice quickly about 6 minutes and it dose that so I’m happy with my purchase.

Overall, this is a good little ice maker. Perfect for our household of two, it makes ice quickly and is relatively quiet. I think it will be perfect to take in the camper, too. The only con is that it frequently gets the “ice full” message due to not quite pushing the ice out and away into the basket far enough. I would say after it’s made 2 rounds of ice, the cubes start getting stuck and setting off the “full” sensor. Not a huge problem, just have to keep an eye on it if you truly want to fill the basket.

This is a very nice, compact icemaker. That works pretty quickly and makes very nice ice. It works reliably. It’s also very quiet. Only one problem: the paddle that pushes the frozen ice into the tray doesn’t push the ice completely into the tray and usually one or two pieces remain making the machine think that the ice tray is full. It needs to be redesigned with a paddle that pushes a lot harder so that all the ice falls into the tray. When the machine stops making ice. It gets a little bit warmer, and the ice starts to melt.

It’s a tad loud (not bad at all) but I do keep mine in a small office next to my desk so that is the reason. the ice cubes come out great from the first time of use and they are the perfect size. This makes the perfect amount of ice for my husband and I so we never run out. I would not recommend it if you have more than three or four people needing ice, especially during the summertime because it won’t make it fast enough. But for a couple, it’s perfect! The first time we used it it scared the daylights out of me in the evening because you do hear it when it drops the ice so just be prepared for that. We do recommend this icemaker.
