Man this nugget icemaker is a game changer. It’s pretty small. Which we wanted. And looks great. Sort of pricey but not really compared to others. The ice capacity is limited. But so far it has been pretty durable and ice is made pretty quick. So I think that makes up for the limited capacity.
The noise isn’t too loud. I mean it’s not completely quite at all.

After opening, you need to set it upright for at least 2 hours before you use it. After you’ve done that, you need to take the top and do a cleaning. You will need to drain the water from the plug on the bottom. This will take 3 rounds, maybe more to rid of all the cleaner. It’s advertised as a self cleaner, but you need to clean and descale as well. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to remove the top. Once I did that, it was easy. However, there are no directions explaining it and it seems like you’d break it by pulling it off of. Once clean, you make your ice. The pictures I posted shows the amount of ice I got in an hour and 20 minutes. If you are planning to use this for parties, I suggest you make some the night before to have on hand or you’ll surely run out, or be waiting awhile for it to refill. This is not a mini freezer like some think. Make your ice and transfer it to your freezer when done. It also makes very small pieces. This is what I wanted it for. Perfect size. Just be patient setting it up. You’ll love it.

When the ice comes out of the nugget ice maker it is not completely frozen and clumps up bad when you put it in bags to freeze. I found a solution to this. I spread it out in a cookie sheet and set it in the freezer this complete the freezing process and then transferred it to bags, works great. As far as the nugget maker it doesn’t make ice as fast as they claimed. It takes 11/2 hours to fill the little basket. If I run it all day about 5 baskets of ice. Otherwise no complaints just wish it were a little faster. I don’t think it will make 33 lbs of ice in anormal working day. It make it in a 24 hour day but not in a 10 hr day. I’d give it a 3.5 rating because of the slowness it has to add water every time the the basket fills.
