The ice maker was packed safely and arrived on time. Removing the old ice maker and installing the new one took only a few minutes, and the new ice maker began making ice within a couple of hours. The only difference that I could see between the old and new ice makers, was that the cord on the new ice maker was longer than the old cord. The longer cord did not cause any issues with the installation or operation of the ice maker. We soon had a full tray of ice – it seems to be working like new again.
