This thing is a MACHINE. Pun absolutely intended. Our whole family is in love! I went with this bullet ice maker due to two factors 1) we always run out of ice halfway during the day. 2) the bullet ice machines are half the cost of the nugget ice machines.
I had realllyyyy wanted the nugget machine due to the fact that I like to crunch on ice. But it just wasn’t in the budget. This though? Right out of the machine this ice is perfectly crunchable. In our home setting it pumps out a load of small ice every seven minutes. Large every ten minutes.
Note: the water reservoir is small. Though I don’t mind. It also is not refrigerated. It makes the ice. It dumps it into the bucket. The ice starts melting. The melt drips back into the water reservoir.

Make sure to follow the instructions completely. Just plain water for ice, allow there to be space between this product and other household products so that there’s air circulation and keep it clean. Ice will be wet, so I use a hammer to break up the ice after the ice has been in the freezer. It has an automatic shut off when the basket is full of ice, which stops there being ice on the floor. The ice is made a lot faster than my install ice maker and it’s portable. Very best buy for the price.
