Worked for a while. Maybe 6 months. Then has been trouble since. Works then doesn’t work. When it works we like it. It is loud. Called customer service but its out of warranty now. They don’t want to help me. I need to replace it. I hoped they would send me a replacement or another pump but they won’t and no one wants to come service it!

The one thing that stand out with this machine as opposed to a Kitchen Aid is the noise level. After the bin is filled (which seems like a few minutes) the fans stop and it is extremely quiet. I used to wake in the middle of the night with my old KA. Trust me when I tell you… this is a far superior product and it is 1/2 the price of a Kitchen Aid

We purchased this ice machine in late May 2022 and received it about a week later. We installed it this weekend, but quickly realized it was not getting cold. It has water and power and no reason to not work. I sent an email to Costway this morning and will report back on their response.

We bought this ice maker and the first one we received had a manufacturer defect, realized after installation and disposal of the original packaging. Rather than wait for the new part to arrive, we ordered a second one and sent the first machine back in the packaging of the second ice maker. It was professionally installed by our contractor on Friday and our floor was covered in water on Saturday morning. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Purchased for new home construction so was not able to install for a couple mos after receiving. Properly installed. Never worked. As prior reviews suggest prob bad compressor.
The only reason this gets one star is that after 4 or 5 emails back and forth with customer service I was fully refunded and told to keep the unit.
Unit is worthless and unfortunately cabinet was built to fit this ice maker. Definitely not wasting money on another of this brand.

Do not buy this item.
We purchased this item in May 2022. It doesn’t work. Is properly connected to water and electricity runs but doesn’t make any ice. Something is wrong with the compressor. We are involved in a claim to get our money back and return the machine. Will keep you posted.
