Once we got the machine going it worked great until the ice basket got full. The machine should have then stopped operating but it did not. Water kept flowing into the ice basket throughout the night even with the power off and overflowed onto the counter and floor. I found that anytime the machine fills the ice basket with ice, it malfunctions. Even when the ice basket is emptied, the water continues to flow into the ice basket area and the machine will not resume making ice until we unplug for a few minutes and then restore power. Its like a full reset to clear the machine and then it resumes making ice.
I wrote to the company who suggested I take a $100 from them to get it fixed locally or return it for a full refund. I’m not interested in either. I found this to be unhelpful and unfriendly.
There has to be a simple fix for this. Anyone?

Simply pour water into the reservoir, press start and minutes later ice cubes appear. You can adjust the size of the cubes to your taste or needs. Unit is expensive to initially purchase, but the cost of a bag of ice cubes is in the $3 to $5 range, so over time, the machine will quickly pay for itself!

You have to break up the ice cubes manually; I also can’t figure out how the cleaning button works because I ran the cleaning cycle, which didn’t do anything. But it was worth the money

Cependant elle m’a fait les 2 bruits que les autres parlent 3-4 fois à date. C’est assez intense comme ils disent. Par contre elle m’a été livrée sur le côté et les stickers d’ups étaient à l’envers. Est-ce qu’ils ont réduit son espérance de vie?
La bouteille sur le dessus en est une pour les sportifs elle ne fait que 5l, pas cher chez W. Sinon elle travaille vite et bien et est silencieuse quand tout va bien. J’avais pris la plus cher parce que le réfrigérant use moins les pièces, à refaire je prendrais celui à 200. J’ai voulu faire une plainte à ups mais ils ne se sont même pas donné la peine de me recontacter
Update. Après avoir mis de l’eau achetée elle n’a plus refait de bruits et je suis revenue à l’eau de robinet tout est OK depuis une secousse. Je mets mes plaques de glaces à plat dans des ziploc médium. J’en fait une bonne pile à la fois et ça dure longtemps. Mon fils qui a une type balle chez lui préfère se servir dans mes sacs maintenant. Je n’ai plus qu’ups comme irritant maintenant. Quoique le service après vente laisse à désirer aussi

Machine is loud, ice bulks together in one large piece that needs to be broken by hand before it melts into a block. Also has a leak. Now will cost a fortune in postage (the consumer must pay the shipping on returns with this company) to ship this heavy loud machine back. Unhappy with product and process as I walk away in the hole $$ and no product. Would not recommend because of this.

We bought this as we have a large family and our freezer is full of ice trays which will spill most of the time so after reading many reviews, we decided to purchase this make and model and it it’s absolutely fantastic. From the time you push the start button to the time that you have fresh solid ice, it takes only 12 minutes. That really surprised us. We also went to a local store to purchase a small water bottle for the top of the machine instead of manually filling it, but the bottle did not fit, so I’m unsure where to purchase a bottle locally so I will order one off Icemaker.us.com or some other retailer. Another great feature it that its compact and very quiet. If your always looking for ice and you don’t want to use the bag of ice that you purchased at the local store and the ice is mostly freezer burnt or you don’t want to constantly be spilling ice trays, this is the one to buy. We absolutely love it and it’s worth every penny.

I love my ice maker machine. I had another one before but required to keep an eye all the time to put the ice away and put more water on it. Now there is no need for that. I can put a large water bottle and besides it produce more ice. I bought ice bags and store it at the fridge. When my wife or the kids need more ice they just grab it and I don’t need to be there.
