My built in ice maker broke on my fridge and instead of spending over 1k on a new fridge just for ice, I got this stand alone ice maker. I’m glad I did since it works pretty well. It’s pretty fast and new ice are made every 10 minutes or so. There’s a tray that collects it above the reservoir and it came with a scoop. The ice tastes better since I’m using the 5 stage RO water. My old fridge only had one filter and it had an after taste. Love the ice maker so far.
