By far the best ice maker I’ve had. Be sure always use distilled water. I get the 2.5 gallon jugs and sit on top that way while I’m getting ice I can be refilling the back at the same time.

We have one of these at work. This icemaker is HORRIBLE. It is so loud, it’s disruptive to any conversation within 15′ of it. I was facing two gentlemen while engaged in a conversation about 6′ away. I was facing them, and the icemaker was at least 2X as far to my right. It was so loud, I couldn’t make out most of the words they were saying without turning my back to the icemaker.
I’ll admit I’m in my 50s… I have some measurable hearing loss… not horrible, but I’ve done a little damage, so I’m not somebody with tender ears – I’ve lived under the downwind leg of an airport and regularly have small/medium planes directly overhead. Doesn’t bother me a bit.
This icemaker’s noise makes me want to NOT use it just on principle. It’s that bad.
