If you can catch this ice-maker on sale like I did, it’s a pretty easy buy. My freezer does have a built in ice-maker, but the bin that it drops the ice cubes in takes up a lot of precious space, so I picked this gadget up.
I will say it makes ice at a very respectable rate, and I love the shape of the ice cubes. They are kind of hollow bullet shaped, but definitely chill your drinks quick. The only real complaint I have is that after it is done making the ice, it doesn’t really keep the ice from melting. It’s an ice maker, not an ice storer I guess. Definitely meant for ice on demand. Still, very easy to recommend, especially if you entertain often.
