Cool that it includes the ability to suck water in from an (included) inlet hose that you can place in a water jug! Not cool is the fact that it always thinks it’s full of ice, when it’s just full of water.
For any wondering – this is our third ice machine we’ve owned (last two Frigidaire units died after months or years of use). Prior to using the unit we waited far more than 24 hours as recommended for freon to stay resting as it needs to be, in case it was tipped in shipping. 72 hours after receiving we set it up and ran it. Ever since the first ice run, it has been very inconsistent and fails to make ice most of the time.
We ultimately opted to return this unit to try our chances with another new brand.

This icemaker has taken over an hour to freeze ice and still has not dropped the first batch of ice out of it. I do not recommend buying this product.

This ice maker works great! So nice to have it fill from a large container and produces nice hard ice cubes fast. The only thing I don’t love about it is when the ice is full and it is either used or melts, the flapper has to be flipped to start making ice again. Small inconvenience however considering how well this item works.

You have to pay attention once it makes three or four batches. The ice lever inside the machine stays down and won’t go back up again. That means you have to push the lever back up and down and up again so it can start making ice again. Someone dropped the ball on this one.

AMAZINGLY EASY TO USE!!!! I love the fact that you can just put the hose in any kind or size of a bottle of water and then you just have to empty out the ice into a bag and into your freezer. In about 4 or 5 hours I had a 3 gallon ziplock bag full of ice! And it only took a gallon of water to make that much ice! I love this ice machine. And the square pieces of ice last longer than those bullet ice thar those other machines make! Totally worth the money I spent on this, and it will make it’s money back in a few months because we won’t be buying a bag of ice for over $3.00 every few days!

Got this in may 2024. It leaks, noisy and hardly makes ice. I called on the warranty extension they said it’s still under warranty by the maker. Plus no one will help solve this problem. I have compliances twice no answers back on what to do. I’m very unhappy with Icemaker.us.com and this maker. So I’m sending it back so the refund can help me by one that works.
