Our freezer stopped making ice and instead of buying a new fridge, I decided to buy this little ice maker. I’m so happy about this purchase. It makes ice within 10 minutes and after 30-40 minutes, the bucket was full. Now I just dump the cute little ice cubes into the freezer bucket until it’s full and then unplug the ice machine until we get low on ice again. It’s VERY quiet, like a small desk fan sound. I only hear it when ice is falling into the bucket.

Although I had shipping issues, which Icemaker.us.com didn’t want to solve issue, I finally received my ice maker. It works as described however it’s a bit noisy not quiet as described. After a few days of using this, the add water light went on even though it had enough water in it. It would not make ice even when I added some more water, so I turned it off and back on and it was fine. A few days later, it did the same thing. So I wrote to the seller to let them know I might have a problem with this unit and would keep in touch with them. They wrote right back and asked if it did happen again to send them photos. It did happen again, so I sent a couple of photos and they decided rather than wait for it to mess up again or possibly stop working, they would replace it without me having to return it. Such great service! I rec’d the new one today and so far, so good, it seems to be working fine. Also- it was making great ice quite fast. I am very pleased with both of them, though I will put the first one aside as a backup for the future because these units eventually need replacing. When that happens I can keep making ice with the first one until I buy another and not have to buy a bag of ice while I wait. At least, I hope so. You never know, it might decide to die when I take it back out. ;0). This ice maker is a great size and fits on my counter without taking up too much room and I love the large size ice! Much better than the ice the unit I had replaced this with. Much thicker and doesn’t melt as fast. Also, I’m really happy that it will clean itself.

I bought this at Black Friday time. It did take a little over a week to come in, but it was a Christmas gift so that’s okay. It came undamaged and was packed properly.
We had to power off and back on for it to start making ice. Ice began making at 8:41 and dropped at 8:48. Dropped again the second time at 8:56. The second round of ice was much better. To be a small little machine, we are pleased with how quickly it freezes. The ice is bullet shaped but still soft to crunch on.
EDIT for update: Feb. 19. Still making great ice! It is a little loud though.

We already own a larger ecozy ice maker but when I saw this one I had to try it. It is smaller than I was expecting, but pops out 8 ice bullets quickly and quietly. You can’t even hear the machine run until the water flows to make the ice and even then it’s quiet. The countertop footprint is small which is nice since we’ll use it both in our home office (away from the kids) and in our travel trailer while camping. Definitely a good price for what it is, and from prior experience with our other ice maker, ecozy has a fantastic customer support staff that responds quickly to any issues if they were to arise.
This one came with stickers, a scoop, and some bags to store the ice in the freezer. Overall great value from a good company.
