I bought this ice maker over a month ago. I repolace a Newair Bullet Ice maker that made 35 lbs of ice per day. While I liked that icemaker, This one blows it away. I originally wanted a sonic type nugget ice maker but decided to try tis one out. I was not disappointed, It makes ice fast and not just 5 cibes at a time, it make an entire glass of ice and the ice is clear and somehow makes the drinks colder than the other icemaker did. Newair made a great machine and it lasted for over 3 years running constantly but after a gentle internal cleaning, it stopped working. Not sure why. This machine has an auto clean function and is very easy to clean. You can also invert a water bottle on top filled with your favorite water and it will auto feed from the jug. Much like a water cooler. For the speed of ice maker and price, it is well worth it. Also, it keeps the ice frozen for a very long time. The only negative is that the ice tends to freeze in thicker sheets so they do not easily break apart. The plastic scoop is much sturdier than the previous machine but i use an small aluminum ice hammer which does a much better job. It would be nice to ave an adjustable timer but the ice is great.

This is a super helpful little icemaker! If you don’t already have one or want to make sure that you’re using clean water versus tap, you can fill this reservoir with some distilled or otherwise purified water, and have fresh ice within just a few minutes. It’s incredible that it can be priced so well and works so well. Now it does have a bit of noise from the compressor and fan running but nothing intrusive. I gave this to my recently graduated son who has an apartment and really wanted to have some fresh ice around. It’s not the nice clear ice you get from dramatically more expensive built-in icemakers but otherwise works really well!

This little guy makes hollow oval shaped ice cubes. The cubes are “wet” but just put them in the freezer if you want a more solid one. This works in about 6 minutes and continues to pump out cubes every 4 to 5 minutes. Highly recommend, light weight, about as loud as a coffee maker, well made. Loved the stickers it came with!

This ice maker works great. It has good water capacity, it’s a good size, it doesn’t leak, and it’s easy to use. It is a good value for the Black Friday money I spent. However, it only makes ten cubes at a time. I spend most of the day making ice and putting the cubes in the freezer. The cubes are wet and therefore freeze together in the freezer. If you buy this ice machine, make sure you buy a good ice pick as well.

Maravillosa máquina fábrica de hielos. Hace muchísimos hielos en muy poco tiempo tal y como lo describen en el producto. Los hielos duran mucho tiempo. El único detalle es que salen las tabletas de hielo pegadas y no hielos independientes, aunque en realidad esto no es un problema porque se rompen fácilmente con el cucharón que viene incluído, y puede ser una ventaja cuando se trata de usar los hielos en contenedores grandes como jarras o termos.
Además, los hielos se mantienen intactos aunque tardemos en retirarlos de la máquina. Súper recomendable.

I like with this machine it comes with ice bags. I will be able to fill the bags. Afterwards clean the the interior and self clean the machine and shut it off for a couple off weeks. The 1st machine I head lasted only 10 months because we were using it constantly and no self cleaning.
