Ran this unit for 6 months and fan motor started to fail. Called customer service and they said to disconnect unit for a few hrs and reconnect it. Worked for a few days and again it failed after 2 days. Reach out to customer service they had me fill out warranty form that took days to get, send them all the information they need, submit the forms via email took a few days to get a response with I have to pack it nicely and ship back to them on my dime. Packing for this unit and shipping is a 3rd of the original price. DONT BUY IT JUNK

Used this for about 8 months now and no problems. Does its expected job of making ice and does it fairly quickly. Nice finish and looks good on the counter.
Only downside if any is that if you plan on transferring and storing the ice in your freezer, the ice is a little wet so it will likely clump and freeze so that you have to break it apart before use.

This is a sleek ice maker. I watched all of the videos showing how it worked and that is why I chose this model. But, when it makes ice, only the front row falls off. The back row collects more water and builds ice and I have to let is melt to start a new batch. I get enough ice for my drinks but I wish the back row would drop smoothly like the front row. I’m not returning it. I can live with it.
