Makes ice quickly, but fairly noisy machine. The cube sizes are regular and small, but regular is really pretty small, but that is fine for my use. The smaller cubes work better for drinks and making smoothies. The unit has a plastic interior. Uses about a pitcher of water to fill. Comes with a plastic ice scoop. It couldn’t be much simpler to operate, just remove tray fill the reservoir with water and replace the basket. Turn it on. I was around another machine during a conference and never once heard the machine. I have had this machine wake me up at night, when it cycles. Once the ice is made then the machine is fairly quiet. The three star rating is for the noise factor. Controls: on, off, ice cube size: regular and small. Indicators ice full, reservoir low. The unit is attractive and quite affordable. I would have preferred to pay more for a quieter unit.

I purchased this machine in August 2015. It is now April 2016 and the ice machine has stopped making ice, it worked great at first but got progressively slower and now does not work at all. We have tried unplugging, resting, resetting, running vinegar though to clean the plumbing and nothing has helped. Buyer beware.

I saw so many mixed reviews on this ice maker, I almost skipped it. But I really wanted one for my new travel trailer and this seemed to be the best fit. I am an ice lover! You will never catch me with a drink without ice in it, a lot of ice in to be totally factual. This thing is nothing less than awesome!! We are mostly outside enjoying the outdoors. Every time we leave the RV, we fill three tervis’ with ice and water. We still cannot out use this thing. In fact we keep emptying it into an ice bucket in the freezer just to be sure we stay ahead of our needs. As others have said, since it is “wet ice”, once in the freezer it tends to freeze together. A $2 ice pick has solved that “problem”. I rarely write reviews, but this one deserved 5 stars and wanted to let others on the fence know to absolutely give this one a chance!

Amazing ice maker! Couldn’t be happier! Bought on a whim and have not regretted for even a second. Has been working non-stop since I got it and my kids love it. Our fridge did not come with an ice maker so this was the next best thing. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try and have loved it since.
