How do you make a machine you can not clean. So we have purchase two of these Ice makers. Not heavy use. Problem after awhile it gets dirty so u clean with cleaner but the tray that holds water for ice still needs to be wiped and clean. You can not remove it and its not easy to get to. and when you clean it the gears that move tray brake very easily. first i thought i was to ruff next one i was super easy on it and it still broke. so disappointed with this product. need to be able to remove tray.

Have bought more expensive ice makers that died while this one keeps going. It is loud when making ice, but it is also fast. It will make the first cubes in minutes and fills the tray at a very reasonable pace. Requires cleaning to keep things fresh, but easy to do. Ideal for any use where you have an electrical plug and your own water. Not really ideal for mass making, but you can remove and move to a freezer if you need it, but it is more for single family use. Like it!
