This icemaker automatically shuts off when it’s full so it does not run over. It also lets you know when to add water in the reservoir and has a mark to let you know when you get to the fill line.
It has a self cleaning mode. It was a little tricking to put together, but that’s just because I didn’t understand the instructions.

I guess I got a dud, because this ice maker does NOT make ice. It’s just an expensive waterfall. I let it sit on the counter overnight, then I ran it and all it does is run water over the metal part, then after 20-30 minutes, it goes to E on the display, which means too much water in the reservoir. I let some water out by draining it into the sink, and ran it again, and still no ice. The directions are poor and the unit didn’t even seem to be cold inside after a cycle. I ran it 3 times and nothing. Junk.

This thing is heavy! So good quality I would say. I would just keep it out and not store it away because it’s heavy. It’s very easy to use. I hate reading instructions and these were something else but it’s not that hard to figure it out. You add water and it starts making ice. Doesn’t make a lot but it’s great if you don’t have an ice maker and you need ice for your drinks once in a while. It’s not so big so looks good on the counter. Makes good size ice.
