I purchased this machines exactly a year ago, March 2020. It worked great for 11 months and all of a sudden it stop working. It won’t freeze ice anymore. I’ve tried everything even did some YouTube videos and nothing worked. It was good while it lasted. Going to have to try a different brand and get a 3yrs warranty with my next purchase.

Just an FYI as it is difficult to determine in the description, but this ice maker does not have a drain pump. It requires a gravity drain.

Great for use at parties. It has a timer to eject whatever it produces every 6 minutes or so So start it the night before the party, or use water as cold as you possibly can. I sometimes make the ice a few days early using distilled water and then set the ice in a bowl to complete the freeze in the freezer, then “chop” the clump up and store it in baggies in the freezer. Beautiful clear ice cubes look great in drinks. If the baggies sit in the freezer too long clump up in the baggie I just put them back into the water reservoir of the machine to allow them to melt but refreeze into beautiful large Ice cubes from the machine again.
This is not a commercial icemaker. If you do not drain the water and dry the machine out when not in use you will get the impossible to clean mold that you see in some of the pictures.
This is neither a refrigerator nor a freezer nor a commercial ice-maker. Don’t be an idiot and expect it to do what it was not made to do, which is run all the time without a good drying and wiping out after use or at least every couple of days.

I received this ice maker and installed it right away. It is quiet and the ice is awesome. We went to bed that night and woke up to wet floors in the kitchen. When I removed the ice maker the problem was clear. A steady drip coming from the water inlet.
Unfortunately, we are going to have to tear up and replace our floors in the area because all of the water caused the wood to cup and release from the concrete.
They did everything right with this machine and skimped on a fitting! Brutal! In short, one cheap plastic fitting that created a drip is going to cost me thousands of dollars in flooring repairs.
