This is a very efficient little ice maker. I put it in my camper van to have ice on the road. It really does generate the ice very quickly as described. The only drawback to this machine, for me, is that the finished ice container is very small and so needs frequent emptying to continue making ice. This is hard to do while traveling down the road. However, this is a limitation of all non-commercial-size ice makers as far as I can tell. To get a commercial ice make would cost far more money and take far more space. Accordingly, this “drawback” appears to be an inherent part of the design of all home ice makers. But this one works as described and does make ice very quickly. I like it and am happy to have ice on my travels.
