I didn’t expect it to work as well as it does. The cubes are pretty airy, so they melt relatively fast, which is fine. Cubes come out a little wet so they stick together when dumped in the tub in my freezer. It takes a hard swack to break them apart. Excellent replacement for the built in ice maker in my freezer that leaked several times and caused major damage. Will also be great for camping. The only noise is when the cubes clunk out. Not a problem. I was able to fill my gallon bucket with ice in just a couple hours.
