Works quickly to make ice.
Downside is sometimes makes chipped or slushy ice instead of nuggets. I don’t like that it seems to be made for a left handed person – the bin is much narrower on the left hand side, making it awkward to scoop out ice.
Needs to be designed better so that the full bin fills up before turning off (full indicator light comes on). Much of the ice becomes melted before it detects it can make ice again.

Although I didn’t use the machine, I noted it was pebble ice and I wanted cubed ice. Same brand as the one I replaced it with so I’m sure it’s a great product for those who want pebble ice. Good brand I imagine.

I got this for my daughter because she loves the nugget type of ice. This makes ice nuggets quickly and she then bags them in gallon ziplocks and puts them in the freezer. After she a couple bags, she turns off the machine and unplugs it until she needs to make more. We do use distilled water in it. Another plus is that it doesn’t take up that much counter space.

The ice nuggets size and texture is nice, produces ice fast, and medium noise level while making ice…the level of a fan on high speed. Totally quiet when not actively making ice.
However, something inside the brand new ice maker machine is tainting the water, turning it brown within hours of adding fresh water. Again…the machine is brand new.
Thoroughly flushed with bleach solution…still turning water brown. Then thoroughly flushed with hot soapy water…didn’t fix it either.
No choice but to return.
