This ice maker has been awesome. Makes great nugget ice that has a great chew HOWEVER. It won’t fill up the finished ice bucket on its own. You have to come over to it and push the finished ice out of the way every 20 mins or so because it slowly climbs up the side of the chute and eventually tells the machine it’s full when it’s nowhere close. Other than that little issue this thing has been perfect so far.

I am loving my ice maker. It doesn’t take up too much room and we love the nugget ice. It is also very easy to operate. It does make a lot of noise, but it’s in the kitchen and I can’t really hear it in my bedroom. It does take time to make the first batch of ice for the day. I turn it on around 6 AM and I usually have enough ice for two 32oz thermos’ for school at 8am (not packed with ice). I personally use ice in my own thermos on and off all day long and I’m never waiting for new ice as long as I refill the water a few times. I don’t think there is enough ice to furnish an entire family that likes ice the way that I do though. It’s perfect for my needs.
