I had the bullet ice maker but those would melt so fast, these cubes are big. Easy set up and the water tank is easily cleanable. Highly recommend!

Received this item August 12th. It worked beautifully. I emptied the tray after every 2nd ice drop to keep ice from melting and from the bin getting full and stopping the process. So a couple of days ago it began to make this growling rattle sound (heard on video). Still makes ice it’s just very loud now. We did all troubleshooting suggestions – making sure it wasn’t overheating, all fans are free and clear, has water in reservoir and there aren’t any blockages in the system. Still makes the noise. Icemaker.us.com assistance suggested we return it. Company number given is only open M-F (it’s Saturday) so that’s of no help today. I like the machine itself – aside from figuring out thickness of cubes – it’s fairly easy to use. Other flaw is just how wet the cubes are when complete but that is minor. So unless the company contacts with me a solution I will sadly be returning this item (hoping we still have the box).

UPDATE:
We were finally able to get this icemaker set up and working well.
We had high hopes that this would be the solution, after we were unable to use the ice maker in our refrigerator. The first time, it worked fine, making thick ice cubes. We turned it off, once we had stored enough cubes. The next time, we were getting ice cubes the thickness of chopped ice.
We called for help, and we’re told that they don’t have the model #, that we purchased!!! They couldn’t help. Now, that’s customer support, right!?
We unplugged it, and started again, and it worked. Really disappointed in the No Service representative.
