Worked well for a couple of months and the last 2 months it makes this terrible screeching noise. Cleaned the machine, turned it off for a couple of days only to have the screeching noise start immediately when turning back on.

It does make a lot of ice. However, it tends to get bunched up & you have to break it up frequently. It does make noise when dropping the ice, but that wasn’t a big deal because of where it’s located in my kitchen. I was VERY disappointed to find out that the attachment for a 3 or 5 gallon water bottle is very small & doesn’t work with the bottles I have delivered to my home. They are the standard size. You may be able to buy bottles that work at Walmart or something. But I specifically bought this unit to use with my water company’s bottles.

That they don’t mention you need a special size water bottle to fit in the thing. Other than that I love it got it so I didn’t have to keep refilling it. Caught it because of the bottle. But the bottles don’t fit.
