My ice maker wasn’t dropping the ice cubes and was breaking when trying to dump ice. This was replacement for my EAU60783835 and was a perfect fit as this replaced my older model. Unplugged the power to refrigerator and removed the 4 screws. It only took 15 minutes to install. Easy DIY.

I bought this as a direct replacement for the one in my 2014 LG LFX25991ST refrigerator when the ice maker started failing to dump and started acting up (filling multiple times without dumping, making noises when trying to dump ice, etc. ). This was perfect, just had to remove the old ice assembly and plug in wiring harness of this new assembly…pretty much plug-n-play.

Make sure u get the correct icemaker and check the color of wires in 5he correct spots in plug. This was the 2nd icemaker purchase in 2 days to get the correct one.
The one thing I can guarantee anyone is that this icemaker assembly WILL Fit an LG refrigerator with the exact model #: Lfx31945st. And the actual model # of the “icemaker” is: EAU60783835.
If ur numbers match up with these exactly, I can say for certain that this one will work!
And this is also the whole assembly just 4 screws and this thing is in and making ice!
Remember to unplug refrigerator during install and make sure u turn switch to “ON” front of icemaker…

Took literally 5 minutes to remove the original one and replace with this new one. Everything came in pre-assembled in 1 piece, so basically:
* remove 3 screws, disconnect the electrical connector and remove older assembly
* Insert new one, put the screws back
I have ice again !
