So we bought this and love it. No issues so far. I see people did have issues, and I bought the warranty just in case. My only really critical observation is a very flimsy buttons that you can push side to side.

This ice maker works as designed, but the design could use some improvement. It seems like the machine is always working and therefore using a lot of energy. It might be that it is more efficient to constantly make ice vs keeping the ice cold, but the machine seems to be always running.
