Totally worth it. Makes perfectly soft crunchy ice. I see that some thought it was noisy or made squealing sounds but that has not been my experience. Had for about 2 months and has been in constant use the entire time.
We found that if you store the ice in ziploc bags it does stick together but a small mallet or hammer breaks it up easily.
Doesn’t take up much counter space. About the same as a Keurig. If you want Sonic or Chick Fil A ice this machine is what you need.

First, the box had been opened and taped back with clear packaging tape. There were indicators on the machine itself that it was used, not new. Next, the ice maker pellets didn’t freeze and were watery, and then they all froze into one glob. I was under the impression I was purchasing a brand new, working ice machine. The fault here, in my opinion, lies with the seller, who is MTL Retailers (MTL stands for Mow that Lawn).
