Crazy but the reviews are correct it only worked for 3 months??? Ice quality was great, but NO support and the warranty doesn’t cover the leaking issue or the fact that it clogs or freezes up. We cleaned it regularly, having a newborn in the house we are pretty much neat freaks. Also the noise level isn’t as silent as advertised. I’ve called Icemaker.us.com directly for assistance and they’ve opened up a case on my behalf.

Nov 25th 2024 Update: I received an email asking if we would accept a replacement, I agreed, thinking this was at least a good attempt at customer service, so we received it, followed the instructions again to set it up. I ran the first reservoir full of water through it, threw that away and then proceeded to use it. Just a week ago I figured it needed to be cleaned, and this is what I found. This is pretty concerning. I cleaned it out, but now I have trust issues, is this in the ice? I know I have looked at it and I found specks of whatever this is.
Pretty sure this is going to get unplugged and tossed in the trash.
Previous Review – September. After less than 2 months, the device just stopped working, it continued to freeze, however it froze the motor inside so that it no longer turns, which is how it makes the ice. It had been working great, however it is now a water filled paperweight. Very disappointing for the price. Purchasing extended warranties isn’t a thing we do, because for that price point it should last more than the 30 day warranty they offer. Also noticed pieces of plastic in the water, which was something another person had commented. Could not recommend this product at all based on this experience.

This is perfect for making small pebble size ice that rivals with the good ice you get at the hospital. I have mines upstairs in my room. Takes up about the same amount of space as 2 PlayStation 5. The beeping is annoying though (it beeps to let you know the ice tray is full of blocked, & when it needs more water) but overall it’s a perfect addition to a home if you don’t want I’ve trays. I eat this Ice all day. When I’m done making my smoothie, I added one to two scoops of this ice because it makes the smoothie cold Without making the smoothie watery.

I absolutely love this ice maker. I have had severals before and a soft ice is great for people that like to chew on ice. I like the fact that every time I want ice it’s on demand and it doesn’t take very long at all to get the ice you need. The size and softness of this ice is perfect. The flaw in design is #1- the basket sits on small blocks to keep it out of the water, but if you don’t use or take the ice out when it’s full, the ice melts too much and soon the basket is sitting in two inches of water and doesn’t retain any ice. You have to remove the basket and dip out about one to two cups of water. I’ve used several brands of these ice makers and no others had this problem. Problem #2 – the basket is really too small. It’s hard to scoop ice out without some falling on the counter.

My aunt has this handy Dandy little item in her kitchen. When I went to visit, I didn’t realize how much more water I would drink with an ice machine.
I have kidney stones and have to drink distilled water. Which tastes “wet“. I purchased one and I have drank more water in the past week than I have in the past month. I highly recommend. It takes up no more space on the countertop than a coffee maker, pressure cooker or desktop tower! I would highly recommend for anyone who needs to increase their water intake. I get distilled water delivered to my My Home weekly as my water is too hard and after 32 kidney stones that is enough.
