This machine works quickly and quietly. We had be using ice trays and this is SO much more convenient. I feel like it makes ice quickly, though it’s a small amount at a time. If you wanted to store up some ice, you could transfer it to a container in a freezer. But it makes enough for my half gallon water bottle, or to add ice to 4 or so dinner glasses.

Couldn’t be any easier to use. Plug it in, fill the reservoir, turn it on, select your ice cube size (small/large) and you are ready to go. First cubes came out in under 10 minutes. Fills the basket in about an hour. I prefer the smaller cubes (nothing wrong with the bigger ones). It’s just that the smaller are easier to chew.
