I am really enjoying this ice machine! I love Sonic ice, and this is very close to it. It makes the ice quickly, and cycles off and on to keep ice made until you turn it off. The machine does not keep it cold, so as the ice melts, the water cycles back through to be made into ice again. The scoop that came with it is just the right size, but I cannot get the suction cup to stay on the side of the machine. I created a whole drink station with drink enhancers and cute insulated cups, and I just feel spoiled having this ice at home. When I put it in an insulated cup, there is still ice left 12 hours later.

My wife loves nugget ice and I debated about purchasing one of these for her. I visited some friends and they had one of these for a while and loved it. I still hesitated because some of the reviews mentioned it was loud and stopped working, but I finally pulled the trigger for Mother’s day. It arrived upright in the box, which it says it needs to be for 24 hours before using, so we plugged it right in. We only used filtered water in it and it started making ice right away, though it took a couple of batches to get consistent. It does make a little noise, enough that you can tell when it is running, but isn’t obnoxiously loud. We have had it for 6 months now, and we have unplugged it, moved it around, plugged it back in, several times, and we have had no issue with it turning back on and making good ice. We have been happy with it and have had no regrets purchasing this one.

I was not a believer when my husband made this purchase. I did not think we needed an ice maker. Well. We received the package, assembled it (which was quick and easy), and plugged it right in. We poured in some nice cold water to the MAX fill line, and we waited. It didn’t take long at all. 6-8 minutes later, we had gorgeous little gems of ice. Beautiful, tiny nuggets of joy. The ice is delightfully crunchy, but yielding. The whole unit fits nicely on my countertop, and we have a rather small kitchen. It’s worth making space for. I was skeptical of the price point as well, but after literally one evening of enjoying The Perfect Ice, I am convinced that it was well worth the cost. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Loved this product for the three months it worked. We went through the problem solving instructions available on Icemaker.us.com and in the manual that comes with the ice maker, but it seems like the motor went kaput or something and is no longer doing its job.
EDIT: 5 star! I told them that it broke and they responded super quick, were professional, friendly and helpful and that they got us a new ice machine within a week.
Then, because I can’t leave well enough alone, mention that, even though it’s very quiet, it terrifies our hamster, which was why we purchased it originally.
