I really really really wish I would’ve bought this years ago. I really have no use for a refrigerator icemaker. I love that I can make Ice cubes with fresh alkaline water and make them as I need them.

I have had ice makers before, so I followed the instructions of not using it right away.
The next day I plugged it in and right away the fan was making an unusual loud noise. This is not the compressor noise, but more like the fan is hitting a piece of metal or that it is coming loose?
It made the first batch of ice and then another . The noise from the fan did not increase or decrease.
I am going to have to return this ice maker.

So this thing produces ice yes, however it doesn’t keep it cold so you can’t just turn it on and walk away for an hour. I run mine and pour the ice into a bin I keep in my freezer. If you leave it, it will melt. Another thing. The ice is pretty wet when it is produced and I was so unhappy I almost returned it as it would all stick together and clump and be impossible to separate after being in my freezer for a while. So I figured out, when you dump the ice with other ice, give it a mix with the scoop so it’s not wet any more and voila, solved the problem! I’m in apartment living for a bit after owning a house with two ice makers so I got beyond spoiled but this works just fine. Takes a bit of effort but it’s great.

It takes forever to get ice! You’d be better off buying a bag of ice and calling it a day, nevermind the fact it cost over $50 to send it back regardless of what they advertise! Poor product with poor customer service!

It plugs in to make ice but it doesn’t keep the unit cold, so the ice melts fast. The ice should at least be drop into a removable tray to stick in the freezer.
