I bought this unit in April 2024 because the ice maker in my fridge freezes up all the time and I was tired of fighting with it. This little ice maker functions as promised. The ice quality is good; there are 2 size choices. I prefer the larger ice. The video shows the large size. The ice maker it isn’t too noisy—just a quiet hum while it’s running. Super easy to use. It is not fast. I generally pick a day to make several bins of ice to last for a few weeks at a time. To fill one standard size ice bin, you can expect to be making ice for 3-4 hours. I gave 4 stars because of it’s being pretty slow.
