This makes great ice and does so fairly quickly. When it worked, it was great, but noisy.
The first one I got broke under warranty and the company was great at sending a replacement. Broken plastic parts got ejected out of where the ice is formed.
The replacement lasted longer and was out of warranty when it failed. It’s failure was in the compressor. It just gets super hot and creates steam instead of ice.

I bought the extended warranty but I hope I never need it ! I am so happy with this machine! No dents thank you! I let it sit for 24 hrs then did the auto clean. So quiet that if you don’t look at it you might not know it is actually busy cleaning! Drained the water which was a bit more of a challenge getting the stopper back in ! I had to tilt the machine to return the stopper. But it worked and sealed the machine! The ice! Oh that tasty ice! Within no time I had my first cup of ice! Yummy!
I woke up this morning to a full basket ! I expect to have a full basket when I get home! I love that the melted ice just returns to make more ice. This is a dream! Pricey but worth every penny. Perfection!

Update after 9 months: I received a replacement from the seller however the problem is mold. The maintenance needed to keep this ice maker clean is excessive. Once a week at least. The self cleaning feature is basically useless as the mold gets stuck in the ice molds and water tubes. It’s very annoying to clean thoroughly because you don’t have any access to these areas. You have to use pipe cleaners and a straw to blow the water/vinegar through to get a good cleaning. Lots of work for some ice. Would be less work just using an ice tray in the freezer.
Worked for 3 months and then stopped producing ice. Cleaned it regularly. Now the machine makes awful noises and barely produces ice. The ice melts before it’s able to fill the basket.

Now, I know this review is coming quite a while after I purchased it but here it goes. This thing never worked. I tried following all of the instructions and ran several self cleaning cycles but when trying to make ice, no water flowed, no ice came out, and the unit would instantly get so hot that steam would accumulate where the ice bin was supposed to be. So, I just shelved it until a friend of mine gets a chance to look at it and try to fix it for me.

I did a lot of research before I bought this one. It is very heavy and the build quality is first rate. It is easy to use and very quiet. I put an sound meter about 6′ away and it was between 40 and 50 dB– the equivalent of a library low conversation. It makes ice very quickly and the ice is great! Just know that these devices do not store ice, it will melt and then be made into ice again. The self cleaning feature is very easy to use and the drain plug is easy to find, remove & replace. Be careful to let it sit upright for about 24 hours after receipt so that the refrigerant can settle — like your refrigerator when it first arrives. Enjoy!

I love my new Silonn Nugget Ice Maker. The ice is Amazing and the machine is a no brainer to use it. 1 button to turn it on, the same button to turn the machine off and finally the same button to self clean machine. I put this ice in my coldest water bottle and it last a couple days, and It makes all my drinks super cold because of the size of the ice…..If this machine was to stop working I would definitely invest in another one. I read some of the bad review but I had to try this item myself and I think they deserve 5 Stars, and you could barely hear this ice machine running the noise is very very low. If you are looking for a Great countertop ice machine for a few family members or friends this is your baby. It is a little pricey but I would purchase it again
