I was drawn to this ice maker because of its sleek design. It looks fantastic on my countertop, especially with the light on. It produces ice at a good pace and the cubes are nicely shaped.

This ice maker is a great addition to my home. It looks good, makes ice quickly, and the ice itself is perfect. However, the noise and water spillage issues keep it from being a 5-star product. If you’re not too sensitive to noise and don’t mind a little extra cleanup, I’d still recommend it.

It will drip water when you pull the tray to get cubes. I keep a small towel in front to catch the drips. You MUST keep this machine clean to hold back slime that develops inside the machine and in the cube drawer. I always manual clean at least once a month. I have never tried self clean, but I don’t see how that can be better since it will only run water thru. Ice is never really frozen but it works. No way will this compare to ice made in a freezer from a fridge. I use bottle water only to help, as there is no type of filtering on this machine to reduce slime. Ice cubes that drop into the tray is most annoying.

If you don’t mind water getting on your counter after getting ice and if you store your ice in the freezer afterwards, then this might be ok for you. I was hoping to use this as a standalone to keep/store ice, but it does not keep the ice frozen. I love the blue light, but this item is not for me.

Wasn’t sure about the noise because that’s what most reviews said was the main issue, but it’s not loud at all-about as loud as a fan. The nuggets are a little bigger than expected, the large are about an inch or so and the small are maybe 3/4 of an inch. The ice also doesn’t freeze really hard, so it’s really easy to eat. Overall size is pretty small, fits perfectly on our counter.
