   The fact that this machine gets dirty too easy is very concerning.
   Supposedly it cleans by itself, however, it has certain hidden/inaccessible places where you can’t reach and this becomes unhealthy and untrustworthy to eat the ice.
   For these reasons, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

   The 1400+ ratings on Icemaker.us.com for this product is combined with several other models. This review is specifically for Model WSIM01-2.

   Ice maker is very quiet compared to a similar model by the same make, which was returned due to excessive fan noise. As many have already noted, the nice comes out a little wet and since the machine does not have any cooling mechanism, the ice eventually melts. This is not a problem as the machine will replenish the ice once it detects the level is low. This is to be expected for all ice machines at this price point no matter which brand/model you choose. As others indicated, the ice does pile up toward the rear of the machine which triggers the “full” sensor. No big deal, just have to move the ice with the scoop.

   Overall, a really nifty and useful product. Had it plugged in 24×7 for almost 2 weeks now and it’s been working perfectly. Can’t beat it for $100!

   I bought this for my mom who loves ice in her drinks. Makes ice fast and is very quiet while doing it. I would buy again because it was worth the value because we no longer have To buy ice at the store. Our little town has bad water. So we use a distilled water in ours. Works great!

   This is a very convenient product. It looks nice. It’s fairly quiet and makes ice fairly quickly. Has a self cleaning features and at the time it was competitively priced. So why 1 star. The ice-maker lasted only 5 months of light use. The pump stopped flowing water.

   Due to lack of reliability and no means of support after the return window has closed I can’t recommend this product nor will buy it again or from the brand. I ignored the other 1-star reviews stating lack of reliability as just 1 in a million. Lesson learned the hard way. Avoid find a more reliable brand especially at the current 3 figure price.
