On the first day, added water, plugged it in. It blinked red.
On the second day, carefully followed instructions. We ran it for quite some time. NO ICE EVER CAME OUT. Where ice was supposed to be ejected was becoming hot from where the motor was running. It was obvious there was only liquid water inside, no frozen water known as ice.
On the third day we packed it up and SENT IT BACK!

It looked nice and was felt sturdy not cheap but after trying for two days, following the manual, it would not make any ice. Made lots of noise but no ice. We have two other counter top ice makers to use in our camper and the kids took the other one so thought we would upgrade to this model. Did not work for us so easy return but we will go back to the cheaper ones.

Really good ice, tiny (edible) pieces. Does melt fast. Only issue is that it made a horrific sound and quit. I cleaned it out, started over and it’s working. It’s good for almost a crushed ice, but in hot weather still needs a few regular ice cubes added.

I ordered this icemaker after seeing it at a friends house on vacation. The first icemaker arrived, and started making ice right away, but the machine made a clicking noise. After speaking with customer service, they recommended that I return it for another. Another one arrived almost immediately, and I went to begin making ice. However, this one never made any ice. I called customer service again and they told me this was a known problem. The fan was blowing cool air rather than warm air. I packaged up the icemaker and took it to UPS for a return. I have been waiting for my refund for days now. You know it’s on the way. I have to pay for the icemaker immediately, I don’t know why I don’t get a refund immediately. I would love to have one of these icemakers that work properly. But now I’m reluctant to order again.
