This ice maker makes great, crunchy ice like other more expensive “Sonic-like” ice makers. It is very quiet. I also like that it has a light and a water meter on the front as well. It did make some loud noise one night, so I unplugged it for the night and reconnected the next morning. It hasn’t made that noise anymore and hopefully it won’t. It is priced more reasonably compared to other chewable ice makers. I also like that this hold quite a bit of ice. I highly recommend it.

We bought one, after 2 days leaked from bottom, returned it and got a new one, leaked again. Figured out that it was a problem if ice got stuck in shoot. 3 days ago, it made horrible noise and shut itself off 2x…when I went to film, it acted fine. Now it is just shutting itself off. We got this replacement at the end of October, so less than 4 months. What a shame cause we really did like it and it made ice quickly for our family of 5.

It broke 5 days after warranty expired. Leaks water and flap where the comes out is flopping around. Think it came loose. Calling customer service after weekend. Hoping they will stand behind their product. Had to get the invoice from Icemaker.us.com, which was much more then need be on Silonn’s part. Now they want video of the problem. The machine leeked water twice on the wooden counter top into the drawer onto to the wooden floor and into the carpet. We have cleaned it up twice. It seems they are looking for ways to not stand behind their product. We are not going to do a video of water which would prove nothing. They need to be barred from Icemaker.us.come. Only hope that Icemaker.us.com sees this and can get our money back.
