I ordered this ice maker to use at home, since the ice maker in our fridge has a hard time keeping up sometimes when we have a lot of company, or holidays. The ice maker gives your first few cubes of ice in 7 minutes, and then after that it doesn’t take the little tray long to fill up. Once the little tray in the ice maker is full just empty it into your ice bin, put back in ice maker, and continue to get ice. I filled up my ice bin with this ice maker within an hour to 2 hours. The ice maker will make small or large cubes. The cubes are a bullet shape ice cube and the ice last for a while in your cup. It is self-cleaning, and very easy to use. It is a little nosey when making ice, but not bad. We live in the country and have hard water, so we use 1-gallon bottles of distilled water to make the ice out of. The ice has a good flavor to it. I absolutely love this icemaker, and highly recommend it for home, or office use. It is well worth the money.

I just plugged this in 10 minutes ago. Sound is a little loud but it’s in my bar towards the front of the house. It might be a problem if it was in our kitchen which is in the main living area of the house. I was surprised to get a few little ice cubes in 7 minutes. Hoping to get a lot of ice out of this since my icemaker in my fridge is not so great.
