Makes ice fast and did not use as much filtered water as expected. We bought 6 gallons thinking we would need for parties, but have not gone through 3 of them.
Only negative is that if you try to freeze premade ice, it sticks together. Best when used directly from the ice maker.

The first machine made a terrible squeal when making ice. They sent me a replacement and it left silver flecks in the ice. They told me the flecks were residue from water tests. Looked more like silver paint flecks to me. I ran 2 self-cleaning cycles and several batches of ice before finally asking for a refund. I really wish it would have worked, it was nice and quiet and makes ice quickly. I hope others have better luck!
