from unboxing until the first few bins of nugget ice, this machine is great. Tons of ice and small nuggets, great for chewing. about a week out, the machine started to get noisier and noisier until I have to shut it off at night so I can sleep. Cleaning the machine is less than ideal, as ther are some small spots that are hard to get a brush into to give a quick schub.
If this machine had remained quiet i would have rated it a 5, but once it got to the howling banshee level i rate it a 3.

After the first use we are extremely happy this ice maker replaced one that required you to have to constantly rearrange the ice to get more in! The new one is hands free! Couldn’t be happier about this purchase!
After a few weeks use it started making a loud squealing noise like the previous one did! I’m going to attempt to contact the manufacturer to see if they have an explanation!

The second ice maker I have worked with in the last year, one that my mother got for Christmas the previous year and both work great. The biggest thing I ended up liking about this one over my mothers at her place was that hers was round and this one is a little smaller while actually having more space and making more ice because its square, taller and narrow making it sorta more efficient with the space it uses up. Hers does output a slightly better nugget ice but since mostly I use mine for long sip drinks or for soft blending it works perfectly for me!

Quiet to run, makes great ice in record time and is everything I was looking for in an ice maker. It arrived ahead of schedule, was well packaged and seems to be working well.
