We can fill our ice container in the freezer in no time. Seems to be much faster than the refrigerator. The ice is wet and freezes in clumps when you store in freezer which means you occasionally have to break up the ice you have made and stored in the freezer with an ice pick but it is a small inconvenience for all of the ice made in such a short time. About the size of a bread maker. It is not made to store ice so, when the basket is full we transfer to the freezer. First ice out in 10 min. or so. We like it.

We use this on our boat and it keeps up fine with general consumption. It makes ice in under 10 minutes. We were using this for cocktails and other drink. I reviewed a bunch of units prior to buying and am glad I bought this unit. It is smaller then other units but that is what we wanted for the boat where everything that comes aboard is measured for size. I would buy again.

I hit the unfortunate combination of a record high August, and a broken refrigerator with Covid delays to getting a part to fix it or a new full sized refrigerator with an icemaker. This little icemaker was a lifesaver, pumping out cubes all day and never seeming to get tired. The cubes are cute little cylinder with a hole down the middle. I am drinking more water than ever, because it just seems to taste better with these cubes. I highly recommend.

Love how within 1/2 hour you have plenty of ice.
It does its first drop in 5-6 min. but it only does 9 at a time.
Give it a few more minutes and you have a full bucket of Ice!

Read the reviews and though this would be a good purchase. Waited almost 3 weeks and the maker did everything but make ice. Returned and got my money back but Wanted to troubleshoot before I did and the only communication I got from the company tech department was literally “did you try unplugging and plugging it back in?” Yes sir, thats why I’m calling you dingbats. (Not what I said but informed them that’s what I had done prior to contacting them) then I was ghosted. Looks like people have had better luck so my hats off to them.

I have had portable ice makers for years. I think that is important when reviewing an ice maker, because if someone has never owned another one to compare this one to, they may be inclined to give 5 stars because it DOES make ice. As compared to others that I have owned, this machine is super tiny. The full capacity of ice will fill ONE large glass. In addition, it takes longer to make that one glassfull of ice than other similarly priced machines, the machine is noisier, and there are only two cube sizes, both smaller than I prefer. The color is not a stainless..but a very blah looking grey..it is not attractive on the counter.
These machines are only intended to last about a year..and that is all that they last, but for a hundred bucks, there are much better quality portable ice machines out there. I am returning this one.

I cleaned the water reservoir, filled it with 2L of water and turned it on. At first the ice bullets were really small even though I had it set to large, but after a few hours they got larger and are now getting to the expected size. I’ve seen this brand in the retail stores, so thought I’d give it a try. So far so good!

I previously owned a Whynter IMC-270MS Compact Ice Maker. It worked great. Loved it. But, it appears to be discontinued.
But, this newer model is lacking. It only last 4 months and now it doesn’t work at all.
